Prior to Saturday’s game, just before Barry Melrose hit the airwaves on Hockey Night in Canada and referred to himself as “Daniel Boone” and “Kreskin” while defending his honor, Wayne met with several members of the media and one of the topics on the table was Melrose and his firing by Tampa Bay just 16 games into his first season there.
