When the late Mr. Bill Wirtz suggested to Panger that he should get into broadcasting, Mr. Wirtz knew what he was talking about. Today, Panger does American Network TV Telecasts and Canadian Network TV Telecasts, in addition now to the St. Louis Blues. I know he didn't want to leave Phoenix, but in today's economy, I'm sure everyone understands, that a job, is a job, is a job. And when you are blessed to be only one of 30 NHL colour TV telecasters out there, you tend to hold on to those positions dearly. Just too bad it wasn't in Phoenix. But we all understand.
